We cater for small to medium stud stock and do regular trips to Victoria, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
Our truck is a customised 2004 UDMK240 and can carry up to 35 animals. The animals are contained in fully covered partitioned areas with food and water always available. Their area is well ventilated, with insulation from the cold and drainage for waste, to ensure a safe comfortable journey. This enables the animals to travel long distances in a stress free environment, and arrive in excellent condition. We stop every 2-3 hours to enable young animals to drink from their mothers. (Note: - We prefer not to carry any crias that are less than 3 weeks old).
Our rates are kept as low as possible to be competitive with larger, less specialised transport companies. We are happy to quote for any jobs you may have, whether it is only a single animal or a truckload, both to or from any of the locations mentioned above. It is also important to read the truck access information.
Truck Access
The truck is 10 metres in length and 3.6 metres high. Please make sure that there is at least 3.5 metre width access to your animals with no low overhanging trees, otherwise they will have to be walked onto the truck with halter and lead. Similarly, we cannot take the truck into very wet boggy areas. If you live “off the beaten track” it would be ideal to meet you at the closest sealed road, as although the truck can travel over unsealed bumpy roads, the animals on board don’t have a very comfortable time.
